Juxtapoz Magazine – Paul Wunderlich was “The Magic Realist”

Paul Wunderlich was a German painter, sculptor and graphic artist. Influenced by the Art Deco and Art Nouveau movements, his work showcases nudes which were seized in the 1960s due to their indecent nature. Today, we take a look at whole breadth of his work, from nudes to surreal scenes, sci-fi to traditional painting. The legendary German painter’s work is publicly held in The Museum of Modern Art in New York and The Hirschorn Museum in Washington DC as well as other museums internationally.
