From the 20th to the 29th of July, Urban Forms Festival 2018 will be held in Łódź, Poland. Outstanding artists such as Peeta (Italy), 1010 (Germany), Viktor Puzin (Russia), Awer (Italy), and Okuda (Spain) will join the event this year. The artworks produced will encompass, among others, the first 3D and illusionistic paintings of the city. Also, talented young local artists will paint an underground passage and a tram.
This edition’s main theme is “the place”, referring to murals, as well as other urban art objects that often become landmarks. In this sense, they transform an anonymous, amorphous space into a recognizable, emotion-filled place. The buildings for this year‛s works were proposed by the residents of Łódź.
Besides of the creation of murals, activities like workshops, screenings and tours around the newly created works will happen. The full schedule can be found here. Soon we are going to share more information and pictures of the Festival. Stay tuned!
